Landfill Cutoff Walls

C3 Environmental Limited have carried out many Waterloo Barrier® projects on various landfills across North America. Due to its very low permeability and the minimal disturbance of the existing waste during its installation, the Waterloo Barrier® system is an ideal technology to enhance existing leachate and gas collection systems. The Waterloo Barrier® has been applied as the crucial component of vapour venting systems at several former landfill sites.

Waterloo Barrier® Cutoff Wall installed to reduce the amount of groundwater entering the landfill, significantly reducing leachate production and associated treatment costs.
